We did the three week board and train and highly recommend! We have a husky mix and pit bull who were both highly reactive to people and other dogs. Prior to training, we had gotten to the point where we dreaded taking them out for walks due to how they behaved on a leash. Our first week with them back home, we were able to take them out to a park and our pit bull didn’t even react while in heel when a jogger ran by. We’ve been staying up with the training and the dogs continue to improve. Emily was our primary trainer and she was absolutely wonderful with her work with our to dogs and with us as we’ve had questions. Would absolutely recommend his services. He’s very knowledgeable about dogs and the proper way to train and handle them. He was very thorough in his explanations and answered all of my questions until I had a better understanding of the situation I was dealing with. I am considering adopting a dog that was noted to have a few behavior issues. I reached out for some advice and Mike took the time talk me through my options. He was so kind and knowledgeable in helping me with the decision process. My sister also took her dog to them and they did a wonderful job. I highly recommend them to anyone! First off let me say that when we (my dog and I) went for our follow up training appointments after the board and train, my dog was excited and happy to see Keaton! So my dog was definitely treated right!
Baymax, my dog, was enrolled in their 3 week board and train during a move for us. Now Baymax, going into the program, had a pretty decent foundation already- just not solid as it could be. And he is reactive to dogs outside.
Throughout his stay, I received updates and videos of his progress and am assured by the saftey measures taken during training. Was happy to hear that he did manage to interact with other dogs and even made a friend. Go home day, I was given the tools and knowledge needed to transition him to our new place and he is doing great! Precision Dog Training has been so valuable to our dog and our family. The trainers truly understand each families needs and will tailor communication and training material to best help the owners and their dogs. Keaton has help retrain us and our dog to help us succeed. He thoroughly explains how to handle different negative behaviors along with the why. We had a great experience at Precision Dog Training Academy with their intermediate board and train program. Emily, the trainer, knows her stuff—she helped our dog become less reactive to other dogs and people and cut down on excessive barking. The results have been fantastic, making life a lot easier and more peaceful at home. If you're looking for effective dog training, I highly recommend this place. Thanks, Emily, for the great work.
